The Creative Heart Behind JK Designs and Woodworking
Hi, I’m Janice — the hands, heart, and imagination behind JK Designs and Woodworking! What started as a small creative outlet in 2017 has grown into a full-blown passion for crafting custom home decor that brings joy and personality to every space.
Over the years, I’ve explored and mastered a variety of techniques, always chasing new ways to make each piece unique, meaningful, and just plain beautiful. From wreaths and door hangers to custom signs and seasonal designs, my goal is simple: to make something that makes you smile every time you walk by it.
And I’m not in this alone! My husband Dan is a huge part of what makes JK Designs and Woodworking possible. He’s the behind-the-scenes support who cuts and stains the wood, sands down every detail, and applies the protective topcoat to finish each piece with care. Honestly, I couldn’t do this without him. He’s always ready to lend a hand wherever it’s needed, and together we make sure every order is made with love (and a little sawdust!).
Now that I’m retired from my full-time job, We get to spend even more time doing what I love — crafting pieces that help turn houses into homes. Whether you’re decorating for the seasons or looking for a personalized gift, I’m thrilled to help bring your vision to life.
